JAPSPEED choose THE SPEED FACTORY
With the launch of the THE SPEED FACTORY spray shop, it was great news to hear that JAPSPEED http://www.japspeed.co.uk/ chose us to do the repair work to Danny Eyles Drift S15 monster. Several panels had to have fibreglass repair but the car is now back in one piece and is now having its engine finished off ready for the new season of creating plenty of tyre smoke.

THE SPEED FACTORY S15
After the wide arch Subaru, THE SPEED FACTORY wanted some rear wheel action and sourced a clean, low mileage untouched Spec-R S15. It wasn't long before it went into the bodyshop to have a full Wisesquare/Behrmann D1GP wide arch kit fitted, the first of its kind in this country. After that a suspension upgrade, engine tuning and wide wheels went on along with graphics and many many other performance tuning items.
The car has been seen at many events in 2010 and seen in many publications and on many websites and now spends its life in Germany. For anything you see on the car that you would like on your own then please contact THE SPEED FACTORY and we can supply it.

THE SPEED FACTORY is pleased to announce that it is an official retailer of the new Meister-R Zeta-R coilovers that are available for many makes of vehicle and start at £679. These coilovers are designed for the UK road in mind and are alot different to alot of coilovers that are currently on the market in this price range that suffer from the rear topmounts knocking after a short period of time.
ZETA (ΞΆ) is the symbol for “damping ratio”, a measurement describing how oscillations in a system die down after a disturbance. The ability to control oscillations is the most important function of a suspension system. The MeisterR Zeta-R is designed with the concept of precision damping ratio that provides maximum control. Zeta-R is engineered to be compliant over all type of surfaces with maximum steering response and precise adjustments to the vehicle suspension setting.

DASTEK DYNO CELL
THE SPEED FACTORY not only has a full service workshop, offer a huge range of parts and accessories, offer airbrushing, custom interiors, mot's, performance tuning, engine rebuilds etc etc but it also has a purpose built DASTEK 4wd dyno cell on its premises.
We can offer anything from a back to back power run to a full days mapping session on the rollers by our very own in house ECU mapping specialist. We can cater for just about any marque and cover both diesel and petrol vehicles.
A back to back power run is £65, dyno time by the hour is £90, half day is £300 and full day is £500. We also have regular car club days where the back to back power run rate is reduced depending on the number of club members.

THE NEW NISSAN S13 WIDE ARCH BODYKIT
The new Nissan S13 wide arch bodykit is now available. With a serious lack of good quality bodykits at an excellent price being available on the current market for the S13, THE SPEED FACTORY approached ABW with an initial design and idea to create an aggressive kit mainly aimed at the drift and street scene. This kit will extend your standard arches by 55mm, meaning you can house some seriously aggressive fitment wheels under those S13 arches. It is designed so the arches can easily bolt on or off.
As seen in the picture we fitted a set of the new Rota RB-X drift 17x9 et-13 front and rear and there is still plenty of room on the back to fit wider or use a 15-20mm spacer and standard camber. All our kits are finished to the highest standard with perfect fitment and this full kit is now available for £1249 including the ducktail spoiler. A lower front splitter will also be available soon for the front bumper, this has been made as a seperate piece so that it can be removed for track use to gain extra ground clearance.
Also all parts are available seperatly so if you would like just the arch and skirt set then that retails at £649 and the ducktails rrp is £249.

HAWKEYE SUBARU TA KIT
With there being so many kits available overseas and with THE SPEED FACTORY & ABW always being the first to set the trends, we felt it was about time to put our heads together and create a very aggressive wide arch kit for the Hawkeye subaru impreza over here in the UK. Initially Gavin from THE SPEED FACTORY wanted a kit that was different to the WRC wide arch kits that had swamped the UK markets over the years and came up with an idea that he took too Daren at ABW. After many phone calls and designs the 2 came up with a kit that was new to the scene and introduced the Time Attack wide arch series.
As seen here on the Japspeed drift monster, the kit comprises of extended/vented front arches, extended/vented rear arches, deep sideskirts and a very aggressive front bumper that also incorporates the grille. Again, the quality is exceptional along with perfect fitment.

ROCKET BUNNY'S SKYLINE
With the drift scene being the way it is, so many body panels get the odd tap here and there on the circuit and one thing that was required was a set of wide arches that could be bolted on and off with ease should they get hit a little too hard by a fellow competitor. So THE SPEED FACTORY and ABW put their minds together to produce the new extended arch/sideskirt kit for the Nissan Skyline R33 which will be available very soon and orders are already being taken. For example a full 3" turbo back stainless steel exhausts system supplied and fitted to a classic or newage subaru will be only £349!
